HAND KNITTED SILKS FROM NEPAL

Scarves and toques (caps) are hand made in a cottage industry for village women in Nepal. Silk saris are shredded, the yarn is hand made and the garments hand knitted or hand knotted. Each piece is multi-colored and unique. Vibrant, soft and warm without being itchy, they are also hand washable.
