RavishingRugs.com was Founded by Barbara Buffington the current CEO. Barbara was frustrated by mass produced and mass marketed cheap machine made rugs. At the other end of the spectrum were the high end rugs being purchased in volume by business people that knew more about business than they did about design. Barbara was always being asked to help buyers find Rugs that weren't just floor coverings but actual pieces of dynamic art. Barbara made it her business to supply her clients with master pieces that were unique to her buyer. Since then Barbara has grown her business by personally sourcing, designing and working with other designers wanting custom rugs.
